Today’s Gratitude Item: Finding a link to download Game Maker Lite version 7. The latest version is 8.1 and we use Game Maker at school for our game development unit. The problem was that 8.1 caused one of my student’s computers to have a bit of a hissy fit. Annoyingly, the main links to Game Maker 7 on the official site no longer worked. After some intensive searching I was able to download good old version 7 which worked beautifully with my student’s computer. It would have been great if YoYo games had not removed the older versions of the software from their site but such is life.
