Another day, another spiral.

Today’s Gratitude Item: Slowly finding work-arounds for MS Teams. Currently my biggest issue is that if students upload relatively large PowerPoint files opening them in PowerPoint does not work when you push the ‘open in PowerPoint’ button via Teams because they are too big and the system times out before the material downloads. The work around is to go to sharepoint, locate the work there and then download it (ie: save the file). Once completely downloaded at least the file opens. Sadly opening the material in the online version is not a great option as my students have used transitions that are not supported in the ‘online’ version and sometimes weird things happen to their embedded sound files.
