Today’s Gratitude Item: That ‘Technology Showcase’ has been cancelled. This event was supposed to happen next week and would have meant a very long night which wasted a lot of time and effort for minimal benefit. After last year’s event, I tried pointing this out to my boss but she did not want to hear it. Happily this year the event won’t go ahead. Showcase is not a bad thing if kids are making a physical outcome such as clothing / furniture. It becomes pointless when work is virtual / on-line.
