I just could not help myself (it’s sad really).

Today’s Gratitude Item: Being able to retrieve my precious InDesign Install DVD from the jaws of my ‘new’ computer. It turns out that said computer has ‘issues’ and will be going back to the store tomorrow morning. The problem appears to be an unreliable power supply as when I tried to ‘restart’ – it turned off but did not turn back on. Turning it on manually did not work. Moving the large black box around a bit (and switching power outlets) let us turn it on *briefly* but it quickly turned itself off again while I was connecting the various bits to the ‘box’. Overall I’m not exactly a happy camper – but at least my disc is safe.
