Today’s Gratitude Item: The new computer is working perfectly! Turns out the ‘turn on’ issue was due to my *old* powered USB hub. Discovered this after taking the computer back to the shop first thing this morning and seeing that they could not replicate the problem. The super-patient technician suggested that I add peripherals one at a time at home to see what the problem was. I only wish I’d done that last night!
