Today’s Gratitude Item: That the caravan for Athletics Day lived up to the advertising. Basically it meant I was one of the only ones on the field who had consistent shade all day and I was able to charge my computer so we did not run out of power. Turns out that being the one to write the record keeping database for said Athletics event has it’s perks. My colleagues were not so lucky and more than a few of them will be sporting sun burns after a full day in the sun with non-existent shade. Funny thing is, it’s class photos tomorrow and quite a few people will be rather red. Sunscreen is effective but only up to a point and people generally sweat it out / miss crucial spots.
