Today’s Gratitude Item: Positive feedback from one of the student teachers who observed some of my classes today. I encouraged the visiting student teachers to chat with my students, ask them about the work we are doing and watch how my kids access the work / do the learning. The feedback I got was that when asked all but one of my students said they were planning on continuing with Computer Science next year. The one who was not a definite ‘yes’ was in the ‘wait and see how I go’ category. This is not something I had discussed with my students or even thought to ask them and knowing that right now things are going well for most in the class is great news.
