Today’s Gratitude Item: That sometimes the kids who try and cheat are not all that bright. I had one submit a piece of code which still had the original author’s name at the top in the comments section. When confronted, the cheater insisted that the work was his. Not too bright. Needless to say, his parents were less than impressed, especially as I took the time to create a brief screencast showing them how I knew their darling had uploaded work that was not his own. Scarily, if he had not made it so easy for me, the cheating might have gone undetected.
