Today’s Gratitude Item: That it is very easy to get in touch with parents when my students fall behind on their work. Sadly some of them are not doing the work in class and they are not doing it at home either which means they end up missing deadlines / falling behind. Frequently contacting parents seems to help although I suspect the kids don’t appreciate the ‘nagging’.
