It turns out that ‘too complicated’ is not good. I have a horrible feeling that this one falls into that category.

Today’s Gratitude Item: That the reference photos I took of some apples worked came out well. Said apples were bought specifically for this year’s Rosh HaShana image which is in the process of being created. Turns out that it’s quicker and easier to buy (and photograph) fruit than to find public domain images which are ‘just right’ on the Internet. The added advantage to this strategy is that I can sell any images made from my photos on Shutterstock (and of course the apples can be eaten at some point in the near future).
