I really hate getting unsolicted snail mail, especially from finance companies / people trying to sell me stuff. Now what we do is we send the mail back marked “unsolicted mail” with one of these stickers. That means that the snail spammer then pays postage twice. Once to send the mail and once to have it returned. Needless to say, offenders rarely reoffend. If only there was a way to to this with email. Those of you who are observant, may notice that the snail’s shell is actually an apophysis spiral.

Today’s Gratitude Item: That my students are such great amusement value. One of them told me today to “Think before you hassle”. Needless to say, this little angel is in the habit of chatting, so I am in the habit of hassling her. Still, the rather candid comment did make me smile inside.
