A dark fractal on a dark day.

Today’s Gratitude Item: The dedicated people who are involved in the Chevera Kadisha. My dad passed away today after a sudden, massive heart attack and this has not yet sunk in. The Chevera have been incredible when it comes to funeral arrangements and all that entails. In the midst of deep sadness I am extremely grateful for their kindness, compassion and support. I am also immensely grateful for the time that I had with my dad. We used to joke that I lived ‘rent free’ in his head and that has been a source of comfort as even though he is no longer with us, I still know what he would do / say in *almost* any given situation.
