Today’s Gratitude Item: That some of my students *finally* handed in work that was really overdue. It turns out that emailing parents and informing them about the overdue work was more effective than anticipated. I’d love it if my senior students were motivated and mature enough to manage their workload and act in their own best interests but for all too many of them, parental input is still required.
