Today’s Gratitude Item: That random.org refused to generate random strings for my students (we needed them as part of an experiment that we are doing on compression). This was the perfect excuse to create a fast and simple random string generator of my own. The nice thing about my generator is that it does exactly what we need and students can specify the exact length of the string with ease.
