I wasn’t expecting this one to turn out as well as it did.

Today’s Gratitude Item: The gate at school was closed but the system recoginsed my car and it opened for me. This is the first time that this has happened as last year this ‘feature’ never worked for me and, on the rare occasion that the gate was locked, I’d have to get out of my car, remember my access code, put it into the keypad and hope that the gate opened. That process also involved a mad dash back to the car to be able to get in before the gate rolled closed.
