This one is a rather pretty variation on a theme.

Today’s Gratitude Item: My 8th grade Math class were getting ready for a test tomorrow and we had an algebra revision sheet but no answers. Instead of hurriedly trying to work out all the answers, I got the class to collaborate on a shared spreadsheet where students would post a possibly correct answer and others in the class would either ‘up vote’ or disagree and post an alternate answer. This worked better than expected and the answer key ended up being ‘self correcting’. I think the kids learned a lot doing it this as they had to take risks, be polite and respectful and think about why a possible solution was correct / wrong.
