Today’s Gratitude Item: Finally winning the ‘Monday Memo’ quiz. Each Monday on the broadsheet that is handed out at ‘briefing’ before school, there is a picture of a New Zealand historical figure. The challenge is to identify said figure and provide a bit of information on why they are significant. This week I was the only one to get it right. The odds of winning are actually quite good as of the 80 odd teaching staff, there are usually only 4 or 5 entries. It appears as if most of my colleagues have not quite got the hang of using google image search.
