It’s been a while since a poppy appeared on my screen. Was pleased with this particular incarnation.

Today’s Gratitude Item: Taking lunch to school. Morning tea was supposed to provided today as it is close to the end of term and some staff are leaving. Usually after a ‘farewell’ morning tea, lunch is not necessary. Unfortunately there was a mishap with the catering for said morning tea (someone got the day wrong) which means that there was no food to go with the farewell speeches. Happily I did not go hungry. Sadly the same cannot be said for some of my colleagues.
