Today’s Gratitude Item: That I was not teaching when the fire alarm went off at school this morning. It was *another* false alarm (a frustratingly frequent occurrence). To make matters worse it was raining heavily at the time and the ‘assembly area’ is out on the field. Happily, the alarm only affected a small portion of the school so I simply shifted to a more favourable location. Admittedly not the best response to a fire alarm but there was no real threat and getting wet was not a good option.
