This one is a bit too ‘busy’ for my liking.

Today’s Gratitude Item: Figuring out how to represent negative numbers in binary. It turns out there are at least three systems for doing this, the most useful of which involves ‘flipping the numbers’ and adding one (called 2’s complement). Will be teaching this to my senior students later in the year 🙂
