Today’s Gratitude Item: Caring support staff. Today was very rough and a small act of kindness from our Office lady helped me get through it. Let’s just say that my computer problem which was “medium” was made “massive” by our IT guy who re-imaged my machine without asking first. In this case, re-imaging was the ‘lazy’ way out. It fixed the “medium” problem but made things so much worse – some of my data may be ‘unrecoverable’ and getting things back to ‘normal’ will take time that I can ill afford. It’s a bit like when an operation is successful but the patient dies.
