The colours are reminiscent of autumn and as we all know, spirals are endless.

Today’s Gratitude Item: Finally getting the database I was developing in Open Office Base to co-operate. Said database is not yet complete but it does most of what it needs to do. All that is missing are some queries so that I can create ‘reports’ which will detail how much time students have missed in class for various reasons. This will be useful to know when looking at grades and explaining why students have not done as well as they otherwise might have. The school where I work is obsessed with ‘tracking students’ (don’t ask!) and having this data will make my life a lot easier.
