Today’s Gratitude Item: Its Sunday and I don’t have school on Monday! For some reason, being on holiday never gets “old”. Perhaps this has something to do with the incredibly long terms we had this year. Teachers sometimes get a lot of flack for the amount of holidays we get but those outside the industry often don’t realise quite how much we work during term time. The phrase “burning the candle at both ends” comes to mind.
