Today’s Gratitude Item: That everyone in my dad’s office in Christchurch* made it out of their building alive. The news right now is a mixture of surreal / horrible – its hard to believe that buildings that were standing at 12:48 pm have been reduced to rubble.

*We are in Auckland, but the head office of the company my dad works for is in Christchurch.

    I've been watching the coverage on the news, and thought of you. I'm glad you and your family are ok. It is very surreal watching all that. New Zealand is in my prayers..

    Thanks for your kind words. Its hard watching the tragedy unfold but being helpless to do anything about it.
