Today’s Gratitude Item: That my dad went back to work today. The recovery time for the kind of surgery he had is supposed to be between four and six weeks after getting home from hospital. He’s gone back to work three weeks after his operation! Happily he is being sensible and he’s doing “half days” for a bit rather than jumping in at the deep end.
