Today’s Gratitude Item: Gift exchange certificates. Basically you buy someone a gift and ask for an exchange certificate. This acts as proof of purchase without giving away how much the gift cost. Then if the gift is not quite “right”, the person who receives it can switch it for something they prefer. In short, it means not having to worry that the recipient won’t like the gift you got them, because they can exchange it if its not quite right.
