Marred

Sometimes that which is not perfect can still be considered “beautiful”.

This one is for my students who just can’t seem to get it right, for whatever reason.

Today’s Gratitude Item: That I don’t have to work tomorrow! I can’t believe how fast this weekend has flown by and I would not be ready to go back to school on Monday. Happily I get to sleep in / relax tomorrow. I really love my life.

Jenni, was this one done with Chaoscope? Love the “Mars” look and the play you did with “Marred.” Nicely done. 🙂

I love this one. It looks just like old, old worn out marbles I used to dig up in my grandfather’s back yard. Marbles and bullets. His yard was an entire city block where there were terrible battles fought during the civil war. The city was burnt to the ground. We filled jars with old bullets & buttons from their uniforms, belt buckles. It was hard to escape the gruesome reality of that war. Finding the old marbles brought a humane note to the war. Most of them were just kids. Same as in any war. I loved the marbles.

    Love the depth in this.
