Today’s Gratitude Item: Locating new pants that are the same as my current ones (only not horribly threadbare). Today would have been dad’s birthday and he often hassled me about my reluctance to go shopping for new clothes (something that I hate doing and would put off for as long as possible). I think this would have made him happy. It was a difficult day because we really miss dad and this ‘birthday’ was one of those ‘first time without dad’ occasions.
