Today’s Gratitude Item: Having dry feet. Getting from the staff-room back to my classroom after a lunch-time deluge was challenging. The only way to keep my shoes / socks from becoming completely water logged was to take off said shoes and socks, role up my pants legs and ‘barefoot it’ back to class. Once back on dry land, it was easy enough to wait for my feet to dry out and then put on my lovely dry footwear.
