Today’s Gratitude Item: Having an idea on ‘collaborative coding’ that might *just* work with my 10th grade class. The basic plan is to get them to decompose a problem as a team and then have small groups create test plans and code for each section. Then we can share the code and everyone should be able to assemble a complete working program in less time than it would otherwise take. It will be interesting to see if this works (and if the resulting code makes better use of functions compared with work coded by a single student).
