Sometimes zooming in (a lot) helps. This was one of those times.

Today’s Gratitude Item: My most restless student managed to sit *relatively* still and focus for almost an entire period today. He suddenly became motivated to work thanks to a possible trip to New York (he’s always wanted to go and provided he behaves, it could happen). It will be interesting to see if the motivation lasts (here’s hoping).
