Today’s Gratitude Item: Having two Chinese ‘Internationals’^* in my one class – one is very new and one has been with me since the start of the year. This made life easy because the one who knows the ropes was able to show my new student what to do.

^*In NZ, many schools open their doors to ‘fee paying’ International Students as a way of getting extra money mostly because government funding for State schools is not actually enough to cover the costs of running most schools. International Students also bring an added dimension to our classes so we have a constant ‘cultural exchange’ thing happening (which is really good).
