Today’s Gratitude Item: That my students ‘caught’ a funny (but serious) error in one of my eBooks before I shared the resource with the wider community. This meant that I was able to fix the problem before too much damage was done. In one of my teaching videos, I’d annotated a shortcut which involved pushing <ctrl><shift><F10> , only a critical ‘f’ was missing from the word ‘shift’. What can I say? It happens. My response when they reported the error? Hysterical laughter. There was not much else that I could do at that point. At least they will remember the shortcut.
