Today’s Gratitude Item: ‘Inheriting’ a top stream Maths class. My senior students have all gone on study leave and I have been given a Maths class to teach instead. Happily, they are a top stream which means my new students are bright, motivated, hard working and a joy to teach. It also means that because I have this ‘extra’ class, I won’t be getting a whole lot of unscheduled relief teaching. Right now, life is really good.
