Chanukah has always been one of my favourite holidays. This probably has a lot to do with the fact that it involves tasty food and fun games.

Today’s Gratitude Item: Finally managing to get an ebook from the local library onto my Android. It kept giving me a weird error and telling me to refresh the browser page when what it should have done was tell me to check my date and time settings. I must have tried to download at least four books and finally gave up in frustration. Even a trip to the local library with tablet in hand did not help. The librarian was lovely but she did not know how to get my android to co-operate (we spent about half an hour trying together).

In the end my dad tried to download a book after I’d given up in frustration, and of course it worked first time – no problems. This was after I’d changed not only the time zone but also date and time settings. Only thought to do that because the internet said to (but it was in an obscure place). Still, all’s well that ends well.
