Today’s Gratitude Item: Finding out that for the first few sessions at least, I’ll be observing “my” 6th grade Maths class rather than teaching them. This is a good thing as we are doing the numeracy program with the students and I have not been trained in this – yet. That training is a forthcoming attraction. I was really concerned as it is not clear exactly which topics we will be covering – hopefully by the time I start teaching this class, that will have been “sorted”.
