Today’s Gratitude Item: Finding $4.00 on my walk on Friday afternoon. The money in question was in the form of two $2.00 coins that I spotted on the road. This is a new record for us. I think G-d was laughing because earlier in the day, my dad changed $2.00 of coins into 10c pieces for the wishing well^*. He had considered changing $5.00 but the bank did not have the nice shiny coins we like to put down the wishing well. He even joked to my mom that it would not be enough – turns out he was right.

^*All the money we find on our walks goes into the wishing well for child cancer. The wishing well is a cool money collecting contraption and watching the coins spiral down into its center is a cheap thrill – especially when its basically found money that it going down there.
