Today’s Gratitude Item: Finding out that the other two finalists in the Yellow Pages Art Awards have had a feature article written about them. My work was totally ignored because I live in the wrong part of town. So why am I grateful? Firstly, if I don’t win, at least it will be because it was not a fair fight. Secondly I found out about the article in time to try and do something about it. I’d never have known about it except my dance buddies who live out that way told me the news. The downside is that voting closes on Friday so there is some urgency to getting this problem “fixed”.
