I have learned that it is possible to salvage just about any Apophysis creation by using the “Kaleidoscope” function in PSP.
Throw in some Amazing Circles for good luck and you end up with quite a nice graphic.
To be fair, I did get lucky when playing with the “Colour Balance” options.
