It has been snowing in Christchurch (South Island)! Aforementioned snow has caused quite a bit of disruption and been featured on the news. The cold snap is a problem for farmers busy with lambing but it is great for the ski fields which can now remain open for a while longer.

Seen as its snowing down South and we are suffering from rather cold temperatures here in the North, the above snow flake (called ‘Flakey’) seemed appropriate.
