Too Gullible

Have discovered that my Deaf students are too gullible for words.

For instance, yesterday I convinced one of my Middle school students that I had eyes at the back of my head. This was easy to do. He was playing with the reflective cover on his Math book (something that annoys one of the other students no end). I could see the reflection on the board. Did the famous spin and blast with “killer look”.

He was shocked and surprised (my “killer look” is really effective). I told him I had magic eyes at the back of my head and was watching him all the time. He believed me. The thing is that half the time these kids make so much noise that it is all too easy to catch them in the act.

Sometimes life is so much fun!
